resource3In order to make the world a better place, there are a variety of programs available to help. Whether the focus is on character education, conflict resolution, acceptance or learning diverse points of view, these programs can and do make a difference.

One such program is “The Peace Ball” project sponsored by the Cooperating School District of St. Louis. For years, this project, during the month of November, helps students recognize and celebrate the peacemaking talents in each other. The goal is to encourage, acknowledge and celebrate random acts of kindness that contribute to making your school more peaceful and productive.

“By turning traditional competitive games into EnTeam games, boys and girls recognize the value of others and the contribution they can make.  EnTeam games are successful because they have measurable results."

-Flint W. Fowler, Ph.D. Executive Director, Herbert Hoover Boys and Girls Club
